Requesting Incident Reports

To obtain a fire department Incident Report with no medical information, email [email protected]

*Be prepared to provide your name, your contact information, date and time of the incident, address or location of the incident, type of incident (vehicle fire, building or vegetation fire, vehicle accident, etc.) and Fire Department Incident Number (if known).

* Be prepared to provide your name, your contact information, date and time of incident, address or location of incident, type of incident (vehicle fire, building fire, vehicle accident, etc.) and Fire Department Incident Number (if known).

In addition, if you were not the person who received medical treatment, you will be required to provide a subpoena or signed authorization from the patient authorizing the release of medical information to you. See request form.

Requesting Investigation Reports

*Be prepared to provide your name, your contact information, date and time of the incident, address or location of the incident, type of incident (vehicle fire, building or vegetation fire, vehicle accident, etc.) and Fire Department Incident Number (if known).

Investigation Reports can only be released when the fire investigation is concluded. No official information for ongoing investigations will be provided.

Depending on the jurisdiction of the incident, you may be directed to Cal Fire or the United States Forest Service for Investigation Reports involving vegetation fires.
