Location and Jurisdiction

Santa Barbara County Fire Station 30 is located at 1644 Oak Street ( map ) in the City of Solvang. They can be reached at (805) 686-8184. Station 30 serves the City of Solvang and portions of the Santa Yanez valley.

Staffing

Station 30 is staffed by one Captain, one Engineer and one Firefighter.

 

History

Fire Station 30 became the newest addition to the Santa Barbara County Fire "family" in May of 2007 when the City of Solvang turned over their Station 1 to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department . The City of Solvang Fire Department has had great tradition since 1931 of serving it's community well. We would like to thank all the staff and especially all the volunteer firefighters and other members of the community who have supported Solvang Fire over the years. We are proud to "carry on" and are certain that by adding this new station to County Fire, we will increase the level of fire protection for the residents in Solvang and the entire Santa Ynez Valley.
